Leeds Arts University
Blenheim Walk, Leeds, LS2 9AQ, United Kingdom
Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England, offering Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses. Established in 1846, we have been delivering high quality art and design education for over 170 years. We consistently produce artists and designers of international repute; Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Damien Hirst all studied here. Our award-winning facilities are industry-standard and our students have access to state-of-the-art studios, computer suites, gallery spaces and specialist workshops. All courses feature guest speakers from industry, live projects set by real companies, and highly experienced tutors who also work as practising artists and designers alongside their teaching. The University is personal and friendly with just over 2,000 students, however, we are based in the centre of Leeds, a vibrant and creative city that is home to approximately 200,000 students across several other institutions.
